Hooper in on Loan

Nineteen year old Southend striker Gary Hooper has joined Orient until the end of the season, but, like Ryan Jarvis, can be recalled by Southend at 24 hours notice although only after the first month.

Hooper joined Southend from Grays Athletic and will probably be named in the squad for Saturday's game against Oldham. Hooper (soon to be Sooper Hooper?) scored twice for Southend against Leeds in the Carling Cup earlier this season and has made two league starts and sixteen substitute appearances.
