Ex Orient and Exeter player Inglethorpe will be missed at Brisbane Road, but in a statement the club said, "It's an opportunity for him to progress but we'd really rather he didn't go becaause of how he's doing with the youth team."
Inglethorpe is believed to be one of two candidates being interviewed for the vacancy.
