Having also played his part in a clean sheet, Mkandawire said: "I'm doubly happy, you can't ask for anything more.
"The boys worked really hard for each other, kept doing the right things and made the right decisions.
"But on a personal level I'm delighted. I've equalled last season's goal tally already so hopefully I'll get a few more and go on and beat it now."
