After the 5-0 thrashing at Brighton on New Year's Day, Orient responded with an impressive 4-2 victory over the U's at Brisbane Road.
Revell, who played a big part in the first two goals, told the club's official website: "It was a nice way to come back from the performance on Saturday.
"We needed to show what we're about and I think second half more than first half we showed what we can do when we play well and use the ball well."
The striker is also hoping his side can reproduce that showing against Norwich in the FA Cup on Saturday.
He added: "The pressure's not on us for a change. I think it's a very good draw, it's a chance for us to go there and show what we can do. Hopefully if we go there and perform it could be a nice little win for us to keep the momentum going."
